ASSOCIATION MEETINGS
Our Association meetings are at the heart of everything we do. We firmly believe in the power of dialogue, which is why we hold regular and ad hoc meetings throughout the school year, attended by members of the Board of Directors and, on some occasions, by class representatives as well.
During these meetings, we plan our upcoming activities, discuss the needs of the Kindergarten and Primary School, and exchange ideas on how to improve our children’s day-to-day school experience. Our door is always open to any parent who wishes to share their suggestions, as everyone’s voice is essential in making Pierce an even better environment for our children.
ASSOCIATION STRUCTURE
The structure of our Association is designed to ensure transparency, effectiveness, and direct representation of every student. At the top of the structure is the General Assembly of Parents, which serves as the Association’s highest decision-making body and elects the Board of Directors (BOD).
The Board of Directors is responsible for coordinating, managing, and implementing the Association’s objectives. A valuable part of this effort is our network of class representatives, who bring forward the voice and needs of each class, as well as our thematic working committees (e.g. events, volunteering, and communications), which are made up of parent volunteers.
This collaborative model allows us to operate as one large, organized family, where every member has a role to play and a voice to be heard.
